If you have a case of the winter blues, we have just the cure!
On Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Grabill, Indiana we will be hosting our 8th annual Spring Fling Charity Event, located at the Fudergong building in Grabill, Indiana. This event benefits the Harlan Christian Youth Center, and the Christian Community Health Care Clinic.
The Harlan Christian Youth Center provides an afterschool program for children from kindergarten through sixth grade, and they offer activities for seventh through twelfth graders as well.
The Christian Community Health Care Clinic is an all volunteer-run organization whose goal is to provide quality health care to those who cannot otherwise access a doctor. The staff at CCHC are all licensed doctors and nurses who are donating their time and skills back into the community. All services are free of charge, and they accept walk-ins.
Please come out for a day of fun with us and support these two wonderful local organizations. If you’re interested in attending, call Dennis Bennett at: (260) 433-2159 to purchase tickets.

It is a well known fact that end of life expenses can be a bit costly. At Infinity Casket, Vault, and Monument Company, we strongly recommend obtaining an irrevocable funeral trust.
What is that? Irrevocable is defined as “not able to be changed, reversed, or recovered; final.” An irrevocable funeral trust is monies set aside for final expenses only. Therefore, no one can touch or change anything about the monies dedicated to final expenses except for you. It can be used for anything from a new suit to be buried in, cemetery monument, casket, urn, or even a dinner served after the service.
Should you find yourself in a financial predicament where you must go on Medicaid, they still cannot touch a single penny of your irrevocable funeral trust.
“But I have life insurance!” You say. “I should be fine, right?” Well, not quite.
Medicaid can file a lean against your life insurance funds for any debt that’s owed to them. (e.g nursing home expenses) If you don’t use Medicaid, other creditors may also come after those funds.
If you obtain an irrevocable funeral trust, those funds are safe and secure, and no one can take it from you.

Pre-needs planning. What is it? To put it simply, pre-needs planning is pre-planning your funeral. As opposed to at-need, which is when someone passes and you plan the funeral immediately after their death.
We know that most people don’t want to think about death any sooner than they have to. It’s understandable, no one wants to be reminded that one day they won’t be here. At Infinity, we’ve made this easy for you and your family. By completing your pre-needs planning with us, you will get your funeral planned and out of the way in a friendly and compassionate environment; and you can get back to doing what you love most: living your life without the stress or worry about what will happen after you’re gone.
At Infinity Casket, Vault, and Monument Company, we work with a licensed, independent, pre-needs specialist with a military background to help you and your family find the best way to celebrate your life.
End-of-life arrangements can be stressful. At Infinity, we make it easy and affordable for you and your family. Give us a call to set up an appointment, or if you have any questions about the process: (260) 444-4100
There is a common myth in the funeral realm, that cremation is only for families who cannot afford a traditional burial. This is simply untrue. There is a myriad of reasons why families choose cremation over a traditional burial, and sometimes cost is a factor. It could be for religious reasons, or simply personal preference.
According to the NFDA (National Funeral Directors Association), 50.2% of Americans chose cremation over a traditional burial in 2016. In addition, 41.1% of Hoosiers chose cremation in 2016 as well. So as you can see, cremation is becoming more and more popular.
On the other hand, people choose to have a traditional burial for some of the same reasons, such as religion and personal preference.
No matter what you choose, whether its a traditional burial or a cremation, Infinity Casket, Vault, and Monument Company will be able to assist you with anything your family needs during your time of loss.
If you’ve lost a loved one this year, we know that it can be a tough transition into the new year without them. All of the different holidays and milestones that they won’t be able to share with you, and memories that you will be reminded of again and again when you encounter one of their favorite things. It can be difficult, but think of it as starting fresh and anew. Yes, it is true that things would be easier if they were here to continue on life’s journey with you, but sadly that is not the case. March into 2019 with a positive outlook, and remind yourself of all of the things that you have, and not the things you have lost. Focus on your hobbies, family, friends, traveling, school, pets, or anything that brings you joy in this world. Remember that your loved one will always be in your heart, and cherish the memories that you have with them. Staying strong and confident throughout this new year will surely make your loved one proud, where ever they are.
Infinity Casket, Vault, and Monument Company is available to give free presentations to groups, such as churches, hospice staff, community groups such as Lions Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, and the like. We provide a 20 minute powerpoint presentation which goes over what Infinity is, and how we fit into the funeral industry. We also cover our products and services within the presentation as well. After the presentation, we hold a question and answer session in order for you to go over any questions or concerns you may have. All of this is at no cost to you. Please give us a call at (260) 444-4100 to set up an appointment for your group, today!
It’s that time of year again: every department store and chain coffee shop has rolled out their winter holiday wares. Christmas sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes, and commercials on TV about Black Friday sales and what to serve at Thanksgiving dinner. For some, this is the best time of the year, because it brings about joy and treasured time spent with family. But for others, this time can feel alienating, cold and lonely.
